The CV might be dying, but your digital reputation is forever.

Let’s be honest, the traditional CV is starting to feel like a relic. A nice summary, sure. But flat. Lifeless. Out of sync with how the world actually works now.

You know what matters more than a perfectly formatted PDF?

-> What happens when someone Googles your name.

And if that makes you nervous, good. It should. Because here’s the deal: that search result is your real CV now. It’s your reputation. It’s your proof. And it’s public, whether you like it or not.

So why not take control of the narrative?

We’re living through one of the fastest digital shifts in human history. AI is rewriting the rules. Social platforms come and go. Algorithms change weekly. But your personal brand? That doesn’t expire. It’s one of the few things that only grows in value over time.

The time, energy, and courage you spend showing the world who you are and what you stand for, that’s not content. That’s capital.

I think of it like leaving puzzle pieces across the internet. A LinkedIn post here. A podcast guest spot there. An article. A talk. A quote someone screenshots because it hit. Each piece tells part of your story. And together, they form a picture, a version of you that people can actually see, connect with, and remember.

The more pieces you put out, the more accurate the picture becomes. Not the algorithm’s version. Not someone else’s version. Your version.

And this matters whether you’re job hunting, launching something new, pitching yourself for panels, or just wanting to be taken seriously in your field. Because when someone’s looking for “someone like you” - they need to find YOU.

And they need to know what you’re about fast.

That’s why I believe the smartest people in the room right now are the ones investing in their personal brand. Not because they want to be influencers, but because they understand:

✅ You don’t want to chase opportunities when you need them.

🔥 You want to be ready for them before they show up.

🌍 And you want to be searchable, discoverable, and unforgettable.

So here’s your permission slip, in case you’ve been waiting for one: You don’t need to be more experienced. More polished. More anything.

You just need to start showing up and showing the world who you are. Now, not later. Drop the puzzle pieces. Build the trail. Let people see who you are.

Because the CV might be dying. But your digital reputation? That’s your legacy. And it’s time to start treating it like one.

What do you say?

/M.
